Dr. Nirav Patel is a general cardiologist with advanced expertise in echocardiography (including transesophageal), cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, advanced imaging, hypertension, heart failure, amyloid cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiogenomics, pharmacogenomics, translational research, and clinical trials.
He began his medical career with a degree from Medical College Baroda, followed by his Master of Science degree in Public Health. Since then, he has completed multiple residencies and fellowships in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical research.
Dr. Patel’s philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and patient empowerment. He treats every patient as he would a member of his own family, fostering trust through open communication and personalized care plans. He is deeply committed to serving underserved and underdiagnosed populations and ensures that each patient benefits from evidence-based therapies, advanced diagnostics and genomic insights tailored to meet their unique needs. He knows firsthand how heart disease can affect families deeply, with half of his family suffering early onset heart attacks including a father who suffered a heart attack at age 44.
