Dr. Lalitha C. Medepalli brings over 20 years of experience to her cardiology practice, with clinical interests in noninvasive cardiology, women’s heart health, and cardio-oncology. She serves as the Medical Director of the IC-OS Gold Certified Cardio-Oncology Program at Northside Hospital Health System (NHHI). She is also the Director of the Northside Hospital Echocardiography School, training the next generation of cardiovascular imaging professionals.

As the 2024–2025 President of the Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPI), Dr. Medepalli launched the Youth Physicians and Pre-Med Initiative (YPPI) Scholarship, supporting Georgia-based high school and college students interested in medicine. She has led and participated in numerous health fairs, community outreach programs, and educational efforts benefiting YPPI, Medical Student and Resident Forum (MSRF) participants, and the broader physician community.

Dr. Medepalli also serves as the Chair of the International Medical Graduate (IMG) Section at the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) 2024-2025, advocating for IMG physicians across the state. As a graduate of the Georgia Physicians Leadership Academy (GPLA) Class XV, she is dedicated to fostering physician leadership, equity, and systemic improvement in healthcare.

A Georgia Trend 2020 Top Doctor, she has published extensively in cardiovascular imaging and cardio-oncology. She plays an active role in academic instruction, performance improvement (PI) initiatives, and the development of standardized protocols to optimize patient care.

Her clinical expertise includes transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT angiography (CCTA), stress echocardiograms, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring. She is known for combining innovative diagnostics with a warm, compassionate approach to patient care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Medepalli enjoys traveling with her family, playing the violin, practicing Zumba, and spending time with friends.
