Dr. Arjun Khadilkar is a general cardiologist with expertise in non-invasive cardiology, lipidology, and preventive cardiology. He has a special interest in caring for patients with genetic predispositions to hyperlipidemia, including familial hyperlipidemia, as well as those at high risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. His clinical skills include transthoracic echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, transesophageal echocardiography, and both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
Dr. Khadilkar’s medical journey began in Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism at Case Western University. He earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toledo. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency, along with serving as a chief resident, at the University of South Florida. He then pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Indiana University.
With a philosophy of care centered on patient education, Dr. Khadilkar ensures each patient leaves their visit with a clear understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and actionable next steps. He is passionate about prevention, emphasizing lifestyle modifications to reduce the burden of chronic disease and improve long-term health outcomes.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Khadilkar enjoys traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, running, weightlifting, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family.
