Dr. Pradyumna “Prad” Tummala listens carefully to patients and their needs. He then draws on his two decades of specialized cardiology experience to develop a treatment plan best suited to an individual patient – cardiovascular care based on empathy as well as thorough assessments and accurate diagnoses. His approach helps patients through difficult times.
A board-certified interventional cardiologist, Dr. Tummala, specializes in complex coronary interventions, including chronic total occlusions, mechanical circulatory support, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), transcatheter aortic valve replacement and percutaneous mitral valve repair (MitraClip). His clinical interests include all aspects of interventional cardiology, including heart attack and cardiogenic shock care, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, aortic stenosis and valvular heart disease, preventive cardiology, advancing quality improvement initiatives and participating in clinical research. In his free time, Dr. Tummala enjoys watching his sons’ sports, traveling and sampling local cuisines and cultures with his family.
