Howard T. “Bo” Walpole Jr., MD, MBA, FSCAI, FACC
Dr. Walpole is a nationally and internationally known expert in cardiovascular medicine with over twenty four years of experience in clinical practice. Dr. Walpole’s past experience includes being a former member of the Board of Trustees of the American College of Cardiology, the largest international professional organization for cardiologists in the world, and has served as their Treasurer. He is a respected speaker at international meetings and director of an annual symposium dedicated to building better cardiology healthcare systems across the country. Dr. Walpole has worked clinically as an interventional cardiologist and Cath Lab Medical Director where he was responsible for participation in a number of pioneering studies in cardiovascular research.
His philosophy of care is to treat his patients like they were his own family members. A longtime resident of north Georgia, he has always been inspired to use his vast experience and knowledge to deliver world class cardiovascular care here in his community.
In his free time, Dr. Walpole enjoys hiking, cycling, travelling and kayaking.
