Dr. Heather Westmoreland listens intently to patient stories and the goals patients set for themselves. She collaborates on the best ways to solve difficult challenges. Dr. Westmoreland finds it most rewarding when patients report being able to return to the activities they love because they are healthy and confident. Dr. Westmoreland is board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. She specializes in cardiac MRIs and stress cardiac MRIs – uncommon services for clinical settings. Dr. Westmoreland’s clinical interests include echocardiography with 3D and strain imaging, cardiac MRI and MRA, stress cardiac MRI, cardiovascular disease in pregnancy and heart disease in women. In her free time, Dr. Westmoreland enjoys spending time with her family boating on Lake Lanier, serving her community through her church, and trying new recipes for her family.
