Dr. Nitya Chandra is a board-certified physician in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant, as well as echocardiography. With over eight years of experience, she specializes in advanced heart failure, amyloidosis and inotropes. Dr. Chandra believes collaborative care and shared decision-making is key to ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients. Caring for critically ill patients requires compassion, critical thinking and research—all which keeps Dr. Chandra motivated on a daily basis. She’s excited to be a part of the Northside community.
In her free time, Dr. Chandra enjoys yoga and meditation. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dogs.
