About Dr. Brenda Hott

4.8 out of 5 (165 ratings)

Dr. Brenda Hott helps patients understand how they can deal with heart failure and heart transplant. She brings the latest medical information and makes it easy to understand what it takes to manage the illness. Dr. Hott’s father suffered a heart attack when he was 33, so she knows firsthand how heart disease affects families. That experience inspired her to pursue cardiology, with a focus on advanced heart failure, transplant and left ventricular assist devices (LVAD).

Dr. Hott finds great satisfaction in taking care of patients with heart failure who are very ill and creating a plan for every unique situation. A great day at the office is seeing a patient get better. In her free time, Dr. Hott enjoys reading, gardening, farming, the outdoors, spending time with her family and her pets.
