About Julia McDonald, MPAS, PA-C

Julia McDonald is a physician assistant with 14 years of experience.  Her interests include interventional cardiology and preventative medicine to help frame the treatment of her patients. Julia’s fascination with the field goes back to high school when she had the opportunity to see a beating heart.

Julia greets each of her patients with a smile. She enjoys being part of their lives and cares for them as though they’re members of her family. In collaboration with physicians and medical staff, Julia practices evidence-based medicine with focus on the whole person. She strives to help patients recover and live their healthiest and best life, for themselves and their loved ones. Julia is active in the community as founder and executive director of the Carrie Williams Pink Foundation, which supports holistic health for women.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling.  She also enjoys planning and spending time with friends and family over a good meal.
